Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Intermediate Series

Traditional Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga seeks to unite mind, body and spirit through five elements –

Asana (postures), Pranayama (yogic breathing), Mudra (body gestures), Bandha (energy locks) & Shatkarma (inner cleansing).

These body-centred practices under hatha yoga not only strengthen and cleanse the physical body, but they also cultivate prana (life-force energy) and invoke kundalini (dormant spiritual energy).

While practising hatha yoga, you will also have the chance to learn about yin and restorative yoga as part of our 300-hour Yoga TTC. You will be taught intermediate and advanced-level hatha yoga. Spanning over a period of 28 days, this TTC will enhance your experience and knowledge of other yoga practices and traditions as well

Quick answers to questions you may have

The 100 Hours Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Course in Rishikesh is a short yet intensive program focusing on the awakening and understanding of Kundalini energy through yoga, meditation, and spiritual practices.

The course is open to beginners, yoga enthusiasts, spiritual seekers, and existing yoga teachers looking to deepen their knowledge of Kundalini practices and yogic philosophy.

Kundalini is a dormant spiritual energy located at the base of the spine. When awakened, it rises through the chakras, leading to spiritual enlightenment and a deeper connection with universal consciousness.

Key techniques include pranayama (like Bhastrika), meditation on the Muladhara chakra, chanting Bija mantras, bandhas (energy locks), mudras, and advanced kriyas like Mahabandha and Mahavedha.

Chakras are energy centers. Kundalini energy rises through these chakras, each unlocking specific physical, emotional, and spiritual traits during the awakening process.
